We are still getting requests from teachers for the June days. At this point I will visit PECC to see maximum capacity. We may switch venues ~ but I will keep everyone posted.
It's the end of March and the institute is at capacity. We have approximately 180 participants with 20 speakers. If you've received confirmation from me you may activate your account at: http://lbpedtech2014.sched.org by logging in. Pick the workshops you would like to register for now. You may always change them later but I would like to get a sense of the more popular workshops. Depending on your responses I may add, delete, or modify the workshops.
Please remember that on May 2nd you are attending either the AM or PM session with Jennie. Please register for Jennie's sessions as well as the boardroom is limited to 100 participants and I want to make sure everyone is there at the right time. Keeping fingers crossed :)

The Institute Program Schedule is now complete. We decided to go with half-day workshops on the Friday to allow more choice for the participants. We also labelled some of the workshops as beginner or advanced. Please be sure to login in (if you've been invited to attend) and pick the workshops you are registering for. Please register ASAP as some of the workshops have a limited number of places available. The institute schedule is pretty much finished. We are now starting to classify the workshops as beginner and/or advanced. We want to stimulate and challenge everyone.
Principals will be sending out registration information this week. If schools want to send more then 2 teachers for the June session it's not a problem. The principal needs to submit the teacher names. For the May session we will set up a list so that if schools do NOT send 2 teachers we will open up the spot to teachers on the list.
I've just uploaded the initial institute schedule for this upcoming May/June. Still waiting for several workshop descriptions to come in. The conference is free for all LBP personnel and we are charging a nominal fee of $110 or $200 for other school boards. The venue, food, and Jennie have been booked. Excited that this is happening again. Our goal for this year is between 100 to 120 participants. If anyone is interested in attending the conference they must fill in this Google form.
